The Model

We visited The Model in Sligo, on Tuesday, February 27th to see the exhibition, ' The Sunset Belongs to You' by two of the country's leading artists, Geraldine O' Neill and Mick O'Dea.

In 2022 when Adam was in 5th class here in Rathlee , The Model invited school children in County Sligo to submit a piece of writing about their lives.

Adam wrote about his love of farming and helping out at weekends at his grandad' s beef farm. Adam was chosen to have his portrait painted by artist, Geraldine O' Neill.

Adam also featured on the RTÉ programme 'This Is Art Club! ' Adam interviewed Portrait Painter, Mick O'Dea, who discusses what makes a good portrait and where his inspiration comes from! Below is the link to the programme.
