Ocean Explorers

Pupils from 3rd to 6th Class recently enjoyed a fantastic learning experience as part of the Ocean Explorers Programme. The children visited the local beach, where they had the opportunity to explore the seashore, discover marine life and learn about the importance of protecting our oceans and coastal environment. Afterwards, back at school, the pupils took part in an engaging presentation and discussion, where they explored what they had learned and developed a greater understanding of marine biodiversity and environmental conservation. It was a wonderful opportunity to bring learning beyond the classroom and encourage curiosity, teamwork and an appreciation of our natural environment.
