One Million Trees

Today, 21st December Ms. Collins‘ class planted a Hazel tree, Ms. Mc Loughlin’s class planted a Hawthorn tree and Ms. Hughes’ class planted a Rowan tree. We received these trees from Self Help Africa who over the next few months will plant over a million trees in Ireland and Africa. We have made a donation of €100 which will enable Self Help Africa to plant 500 more trees in our school‘s name, in Africa. Self Help Africa will provide us with the geo-location of where they are so that we can look at our trees on Google Maps for years to come.
