Materials:Materials and Change
You will need: 1/2 cup of vinegar, 1 tablespoon of bread soda, funnel, white balloon, bottle and black marker.
What to do:
Pour the vinegar into the bottle. Put the tablespoon of bread soda into the balloon using the funnel. Attach the balloon to the bottle and hold the balloon up and let the bread soda fall into the vinegar.
Results
The balloon inflates. When you mix bread soda with an acid like vinegar, you get a fantastic fizzy reaction due to the production of carbon dioxide gas.
