We are delighted to share that our school has been awarded the Curious Minds Gold Award. This is our 16th science award. This prestigious award celebrates the engaging and hands-on ways our students explore the world around them, particularly through exciting science experiments and investigations.

We received wonderful feedback from our log of evidence.

Congratulations to everyone at Rathlee National School on a very well deserved Gold Award, it's clear that the whole school were involved in applying their Science and Maths skills to a wide and varied range of STEM activities from testing boat designs to observing caterpillars develop into butterflies and testing polymers. It's great that learners have the opportunity to be creative while developing their coding skills and designing their floor plans on paper and with Lego.

Well done to everyone involved!
