What Do Seeds Need to Grow?

We investigated if seeds will grow without water, light or soil.

We labelled 4 pots.

A - Control

B - no water

C - no light

D - no soil

A, B and C pots were filled with compost and we put 3 bean seeds in each pot.

Pot B received no water. A paper bag was placed over pot C. We placed the pots on a window sill.

Photo 2 shows the growth after one week.
