We used four glasses to investigate high and low sounds. We filled one glass with water and left one glass empty. When we tapped each glass with a metal spoon we heard two different sounds. The glass full of water caused the glass to vibrate slower, and the sound we heard was at a lower pitch.

We changed the amounts of water in the four glasses and had fun making short tunes.
