Making Pizza.

We are learning about the writing genre procedures in literacy.

In our book there was a procedure on how to make pizza.

We decided to follow the procedure.

This helped us to understand many of the concepts that we have been learning about in other subject areas:

Maths - Measures - we had to measure the milk in ml and we had to weigh the flour and the butter in grams.

Science - Materials and change - How did the flour, butter and milk change when mixed together? what happened to the cheese when it was cooked? etc

The best part was eating the pizza. It was delicious!
